Our Mesa Regal Block Club Christmas Dinner

This evening we had our block club Christmas Dinner in the lounge at Mesa Regal.  Everything was so delicious & we had a great time.  After dinner, the women played "Hand & Foot" and the men were going to play dominoes, but instead they just talked about the military.  This seems to happen every year.  :-)  When Wayne said grace before the meal, he mentioned how fortunate our block is to have Bob.  He talked about how much Bob helps everyone & how often you hear, "Thanks, Bob!" on our block.  Bob was tearing up before he was done.  :-)

Thanksgiving 2013

We spent Thanksgiving at Barry & Rachel's in Mesa.  (My first husband's brother & his family).  We truly enjoyed our day!  Vivian & Bob (my first mother-in-law) weren't able to make it because she is having back problems.  :-(  I could not believe the amount of food that was prepared...I have NEVER seen so many side dishes for one meal!  Not just mashed potatoes...TWO kinds of mashed potatoes!  Not just green bean casserole...one regular one & one made with brie cheese.  It went on & on!  :-)  It was a wonderful day & we are so grateful to Barry & Rachel for including us.  Great food, great friends, great times...it just doesn't get any better than that!

Our Week with the Ruckers

Reid & Debbie arrived in the area on Saturday & will be here for a week.  :-)  We've been enjoying spending time with them & (of course) the fur princesses.  As you can tell by the pictures, Lady & Molly are the main attractions.  ;-)

A Great Day at Barry & Rachel's

Today we went to Barry & Rachel's for dinner.  (Barry is my ex-husband's brother)  Their entire (Arizona) family was there & it was great to see everyone.  Dinner was delicious (as always) and we truly enjoyed our visit.  Thanks again, Barry & Rachel! 

 

(I just realized that the only person I didn't get a

Mesa Regal RV Resort - We're Home!

We arrived at Mesa Regal RV Resort this afternoon.  This is our 3rd winter here & it really is starting to feel like home.  Although we were anxious to get on the road, we are both happy to be here now & sit still for 6 months or so.

 

St. David, Arizona

We are in St. David, AZ for 2 nights.  We've stayed in this area several times.
