Traveling from San Francisco Bay Area to Klamath, CA

Today we left San Francisco and headed toward Klamath, CA.  Our drive mostly consisted of hills, curves and plenty of trees.  It was what I picture Oregon to be like.  We arrived in Klamath and were pleasantly surprised at our campground, as well as the surrounding area.  We are right on the Klamath River and very close to the Pacific Ocean.  There are several elk in this area, as well as marine life.  Tomorrow we will visit the Redwood National Park.

There are 8 of these golden bears around Klamath.
They have been there since 1925 and are a reminder
of Klamath's richly diverse history & world-class
natural beauty.

fit, so we could only put the front in.
