The Ruckers in Arizona

Reid & Debbie arrived in our area yesterday.  We went to their park last night and the four of us went to dinner at the Sundance Restaurant right outside their park.  We then went back to their campsite to visit some more & play with Lady & Molly.  Today we met them for lunch at Garcia's Mexican Restaurant and then went to their place this evening to visit and (sadly) say our goodbyes.  We really enjoyed seeing them and look forward to the next time we meet up with them.

were different than we've seen before.

Aunt Nancy had more Beggin Strips for them.

Roosevelt Lake & Dam, AZ

Today was our 34th Anniversary and we drove up to Roosevelt Lake & Dam. It was a beautiful day (in the 80's) and the scenery was fantastic. We took a new route there because the first time we tried to go there a few years ago, we left from Tortilla Flat and didn't get very far before Bob turned around. The road was dirt, narrow and very winding. So, today we took an alternate route that some friends told us about and although it was longer, it was nice paved roads. After we arrived at Roosevelt Lake, we went to the Visitor's Center and Bob spoke with a lady there and for some reason, he decided to take that 22 mile dirt road back to Tortilla Flat and then Mesa. I thought somebody kidnapped my hubby! We had to pull over several times to let vehicles coming the other way get through. It was shorter, but took much longer. And then Bob kept saying, "This is FUN"! WTH??? I swear, I don't know what has gotten into him.
